Lars Frank Nielsen, who from 1986 to 2003 was partner and founder of the Danish architectural firm 3XN, has since 2003 driven the architectural and design firm OneN.
The OneN lever handle was introduced in 2003, and has been used in Deloitte’s Danish administrative office, the Copenhagen congress hotel - Bella Sky - and in KPMG’s Copenhagen office. OneN wanted to create a flat lever handle as an alternative to the many rounded lever handles already available. The challenge was to combine the round and flat forms in a simple and uncomplicated design.

OneN works primarily with smaller building and building-related designs, and Nielsen’s goal is to develop products that provide simple solutions to complex problems. His starting-point is that products should support and accentuate the architecture, whether they appear as minimalistic or more expressive components.
The OneN collection includes a lever handle, thumb-turn and toilet indicator.
